  We’re excited to announce the opening of our new Dubai office in the Dubai Science Park! 🎉 🌴 🧪 The opening was hosted by our MEA General Manager Emil Sefean and Executive VP and Chief Commercial Officer for Europe and International Antoine Bernasconi. This new space marks a significant milestone in the evolution of our MEA team and the geo-expansion of SERB.The office will provide more room to grow and places us in the heart of Dubai’s thriving pharmaceutical and biotech community.   Our final Diversity & Inclusion Month guest speaker, Megan Reitz, spoke to us about her research on psychological safety. In her engaging and energetic talk, Megan offered deep insights and practical advice on how to listen more attentively, navigate power differences and be more intentional about who we listen to and why.   🎗️ September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 🎗️Did you know that approximately 400,000 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer each year worldwide? Sadly, only half of these cases are identified. This reality results in a staggering disparity in survival rates between high-income countries and those with fewer resources.In countries like the UK, USA, and Europe, survival rates frequently exceed 80%. However, for children in low- and middle-income countries, the chance of survival drops dramatically to as low as 10%. Every day, over 1,000 young lives are lost to cancer. 🌍Let’s join together this September to increase awareness, improve diagnosis, and make life-saving treatments available to all.   SERB kicked off its annual Diversity & Inclusion month with guest speaker Bernadette Smith on the complex topic of belonging.
