FLO London | Chelsea Barracks Spring Fair returns for its third edition (2024)

Adjacent to this year’s Chelsea Flower Show is Chelsea Barracks, simultaneously hosting a spring fair for visitors to the area with the opportunity to see the development of this 12.8-acre site previously out of public reach for 150 years.

The third edition of their spring fair is presented in partnership with House and Garden magazine and promises to be a wonderful celebration of Spring and will feature the following:

The Artisans’ Market

Visitors will see a diverse selection of independent brands offering unique crafts and gourmet treats. House & Garden has curated 15 stands run by their favourite independent decorative, homeware, beauty and jewellery brands, including Sharland England by Louise Roe and Collins & Green Art.

Specialist Reader Seminars

Exclusive workshops and discussions will be held at The Campaner (a Catalonian restaurant), including Interior Design Clinics and conversations with industry luminaries. The seminars are £15 per person.

  • 22 May Design Clinic (2 - 4pm): Network with 10 design professionals from The List by House & Garden and enjoy an exclusive opportunity to pose questions to the experts.

  • 23 May Garrison Chapel (4.30 to 5.30pm): Join interiors guru and broadcaster Louise Roe in conversation with stylist Noni Ware.

  • 24 May Garden Clinic (5 to 6pm): House & Garden editor Clare Foster discusses all things horticultural with Chelsea Gold Medallists Jo Thompson and Tom Massey.

Modern Masters

An outdoor programme of contemporary art curated by New Public is launching on the 13th May entitled “Modern Masters”, (through till October 2024) featuring Dale Chihuly, an American glass artist and entrepreneur. He is well known in the field of blown glass and Londoners will be most familiar with his Rotunda Chandlier which hangs in the Victoria & Albert Museum. “Chihuly at Chelsea Barracks” will showcase his iconic sculptures throughout the Barracks’ public grounds.

Fingers crossed for some sunshine and it should prove to be a lovely day out.
